What is Ionic Purification?

We are all familiar with Vitamins and Minerals sold in Chemists and Health Food shops, and recognize the more familiar mineral elements such as Iron, Copper and Zinc, which millions regard as essential for health.

We use Copper, Zinc and Silver in our Water Treatment Process. Copper and Zinc are used to control algae and fungal spores and also contribute to the elimination of bacteria. Silver is the principal biocide. It has been used for the NASA space programme in the 1950s, purifying water for the astronauts aboard the space vehicles. We can safely say that we are mineralising the water being treated.

How does it work?

Safe low voltage current is transmitted to anodes in the chamber and electrolysis takes place, causing solutions of Copper, Silver and other minerals to form in the water. These are called ions, hence the name ‘Ionic Purifiers’. These ions are positively charged and are created in billions each second. All bacteria, viruses, algae and fungi spores are negatively charged, and so the minerals attach to the cells of contaminants and inactivate them.
